Project Background:
250 million single young people are living alone in China. It is difficult to buy and cook dishes, which has been a problem faced by the post-90s and post-00s urban youth. In China, not every community has a fresh vegetable market. Some vegetable markets are very far away from the community, so we have to only buy a lot of vegetables and fruits at a time and store them in the refrigerator for a long time, which is not fresh but also leads to a lot of waste. Most modern young people rely on ordering take-out to solve the problem of eating, but the nutrition & safety of take-out can‘t be well guaranteed. At the same time, the emergence of online vegetable ordering has solved the problem of a lot of lazy mans' difficulty in purchasing vegetables, but it has also resulted in new problems, such as the quality of the food can't be controlled due to the inability to select on the spot, difficult to control the number of vegetables and so on. I have made the following research and analysis on the difficulty of the contemporary youth in buying vegetables.

Target Audience:
18-30 years old / above middle income level / young people / living alone in urban / pursuing quality / loving life

Research Analysis:
According to research and interviews with target audiences, there are many reasons why young people don’t like to buy vegetables in markets. But fundamentally, they are more willing to accept the sales mode of fast, convenient, no need to choose, small purchase quantity, close distance, all-day opening, and environmental protection.

Solution:
The vending machine is a modern urban wonder. It is a machine, but it seems to be the faithful companion of the late sleeper. Whether it's in manufacturing, services, or retail, Automation is the future, We're all going to see more smart devices replacing people. Under such a broad trend, the future of the vending machine industry is bright.

According to the characteristics of target customers, we will sell vegetables and fruits in the way of automatic sale. The fruit and vegetable vending machine of this brand comes in two versions. For items that need to be sold by the box, like cherries and strawberries, we use version A, The version A VEM sells by the box, which is better for storing small and brittle foods. Version B VEM is suitable for products sold by pieces. It can see the real fruits and vegetables, which is more intuitive, and the quantity can be better controlled by buying by pieces. We open all day long, fast, simple, and easy to operate.
